Yolo Experiences was founded with a bold vision to elevate standards in food and beverage hospitality, as well as in the realms of art, lifestyle retail, fashion, and design across West Africa. Since the opening of Santoku in 2012, followed by the launch of Coco Eats in 2014, Yolo Experiences has established itself as a pioneer in innovative restaurant concepts. The group is also deeply committed to celebrating and nurturing Ghanaian culture, with its website dedicated to showcasing the country’s visionary achievements in quality, style, service, experience, and design.

Founded in the early 2000s, Yolo Experiences was born out of a desire to bring luxury, quality products, and exceptional services to West Africa. With an array of high-end, proprietary restaurants, bars, retail concepts, and publishing ventures, the group continues to set new benchmarks in hospitality, art, lifestyle, fashion, and design. The name "Yolo" stands for "You Only Live Once," embodying the group's mantra to never settle for second best or compromise on excellence.

Currently, Yolo Experiences includes the La Maison interior homeware and design stores, alongside popular dining establishments such as Santoku and Coco Eats. The group also operates Vida E Caffé, a renowned South African café chain. In 2013, La Maison launched Loft, a home fragrance collection with a signature candle inspired by Ghana’s Queen of the Night flower. The same year marked the publication of Ghana Edition, the first style guide dedicated to Accra and the surrounding region.
